What Does Cholesterol Level Of 5.3 With LDL Reading 3.3 Suggest?

Hi Doctor, I am 56, my weight is 62kg and height is five foot seven. Over the last few years, I have taken four blood tests, the latest being 31 March this year, and each time it showed I have blood and cholesterol problems. Four of my haematogical indices are lower than normal, namely Haematocrit (PCV) - 0.39, MCV - 79, MCH 25, Platelet count 136 v). My total cholesterol is 5.3 with LDL reading being 3.3. Are the test results showing something seriously wrong with my health.?

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Elevated bad cholesterol (LDL) / and mild anaemia
You need Life style changes – low fat diet and exercise / repeat the tests in 2 months / if still high, need drugs like statin and iron supplements.
Discuss with your dietician and doctor…

Take care
God bless
