What does this mean: 1. No Acute cranial process 2. There is a loss of the normal T2 signal within the right internal auditory canal. This may be secondary to a vestibular schwannoma. 3. Hello,
The MRI report shows presence of schwannoma. Schwannoma is a benign tumor arising from schwann cells of nerve sheath. In addition, there is small vessel ischemia which suggests demyelination. Schwannoma needs to removed surgically. Demyelination is managed by steroids. I suggest you to consult your neurosurgeon.
