What Does Clear Sticky Vaginal Discharge During Intercourse Indicate?

I am 21 years old and am sexually active. About a year ago, I noticed clear sticky stretchy discharge starting to happen. And then it became white and pasty, not sticky but wet and slick. It doesn t itch, or smell. During intercourse, there becomes an excesss. My partner commented it does have a sour taste. I would just like to know what it is and if there s anything to get rid of it. The amount of discharge is enough to stop and wipe away during intercourse. There are times when it just comes out in abundance on a regular work day. Notes.... December 2014, I was diagnosed with a kidney infection without having shown symptoms of a UTI. Sometimes, I have the urge to urinate frequently without actually having urine. My doctor stated I should avoid caffeine and coffee as I am an avid drinker. The frequent urination goes away when I drink water regularly. Although,I do still drink coffee regularly.

Throughout the female monthly reproductive cycle the quality and the quantity of vaginal discharge varies....what you are describing on the question appear to be normal physiological changes taking in your body.... And you don't need to worry about them.
If only the discharge had a foul smell or you start experiencing itching in or around your genitalia I would recommend you consult your local gynaecologist for clinical evaluation and treatment accordingly.

As for the frequent urination...if UTI is ruled out then....coffee and tea are diuretics, meaning, they lead to increase in urinations.... That's why your doctors may have advised to cut it down.
