What Does Constant Pain In The Upper Abdomen Indicate?
I m Having pains in my upper right stomach right under my rib cage. It is a constant pain that I can feel and gets worse when I cough or move suddenly. Its been going on now for about 2 weeks. I woke up with the pain one morning and it hasn t stopped since. When you push on the area it hurts worse.

This type of pain should not be neglected.
If pain present in upper right side than liver, gall bladder pathology can be present.
If pain is in left upper portion than stomach problem like gastritis can be present.
For your primary work up USG abdomen scan should be done.
According to cause specific treatment given
Consult gastroenterologist for examination
