Hello, I have done my semen analysis kindly guide me about result. My semen analysis report says. volume 3.5 ml color off white consistency viscous liquefaction time 60 minutes pH 8.0 # of slides prepared 2 Micro Sperm count 130 million/ml Motility Active 35% Sluggish 15% Immotile 50% Sperm morphology Smears reveal scattered spermatazoa of normal morphology Diagonosis count and morphology within normal limits
There are multiple parameters alteration in semen report, the chief ones being: @ Actively motile less than 50 % means there would be problems for forward propulsion of the sperms in uterus reaching to fallopian tubes @ High liquification time (beyond 30 minutes) means that more time is required to change the surrounding environment of the sperms inside the uterus from thick jelly to thin watery state in which it swims faster and smoother way.
Additional work up with testosterone level and testicle biopsy are best recommended for proceedings of this query discussion.
