What Does Cracking Sound In The Neck Indicate?
For more than 6 months I hear cracking or clicking sound in my neck, its mostly in upper neck may be at C1,2,3 level.I also hear a fizzing sound in my neck that flows from down to upward. I also have occasional neck and ear pain and have frequent neck esp. trapezius ms spasm. What may be the cause of my problems and possible diagnosis? Please help.

It sounds like you may have Osteoarthritis in your neck. This can cause many problems if it becomes severe.
The cracking/clicking is from damaged cartilage in the joints. See your doctor for MRI if pain becomes severe.
