What Does Cramps And Pain In Neck Area Indicate?

I can be sitting doing nothing and my throat seems to cramp up and it hurts. it almost always hurts when i do cardio. it is kind of a deep pain where my neck meets my chest. I never get any other problems and can actually go pretty hard but it will get worse the harder I push myself. I am 57 and am in very good health.

Hi,
From history there can be possibility of having,
1, degenerative changes in your cervical canal,
2, having some cardiac ailment like angina or coronary insufficiency.
Go for,
EKG to rule out any cardiac problem.
Go for x-ray cervical spines.
After report plan of treatment can be decided.
Meanwhile avoid cardio exercises.
Ok and take care.
