Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
HI Doctor, I m trying to get pregnant. My LMP date was on 04.09.2017. Right now i m experiencing a menstrual like cramps near umbilical area (Sometimes in right side, Sometimes in left but mostly in right side) and moderate back pain. I had went for a scanning on 10th of April for abdominal & pelvic area. but my report seems to be good. Endometrium thickness 6.2mm (LMP - 04.04.2017).
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The cramps you are experiencing may be premenstrual symptoms. If you have already missed your period for at least 5 to 6 days, then please be advised to do a home pregnancy test. I would also recommend going to the urgent care to undergo urine analysis and culture to rule out underlying urinary tract infection. Meanwhile, you can take Tylenol for pain.
Wishing you good health
Dr .Lekshmi
