What Does Dark Spot On Baby's Heart During 19 Weeks Mean?

Hi I'm 24 weeks pregnant my doctor told me at my 19 weeks anatomy scan they found a small dark spot on the baby's heart she said not to worry because most likely it means nothing at all but I'm getting set up for scans every month now. :( what does this mean?

Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.I understand your problem.As in scan they found some spot in fetus's heart,it suggests nothing in my opinion,as your doctor also told,but better go for serial scans every month then it can be diagnosed if any problem in heart of the fetus.No need to worry much.Be in regular contact with your doctor.Good luck.
