What Does Delayed Period After Taking Emergency Contraceptives Indicate?
My gf had a morning after pill within 24 hours of sex. She had her first periods about 1 or 2 weeks later. She is already late for her second period which has not yet come. There are no normal natural early pregnancy cravings. Does it still mean she is pregnant?

Emergency hormonal pill usually causes hormonal imbalance in the body and may lead to irregularity in menses.
Since she has already delayed periods it is advisable to undergo urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy if negative repeat it after seven days if still no periods.
Not all pregnancies show similar symptoms of cravings, vomiting etc. so we can not rely on symptoms.
It is advisable to use other methods of contraception than to use emergency contraceptive pill in future.
