What Does Diarrhea Along With Itching In The Pubic Area Indicate?

Could I have a yeast infection? A week ago I was started on Augmentin for an ear infection. Several days later I had diarrhea and now my pubic area is itching. Diarrhea is long gone. I ve sat in tub with baking soda. No relief. Keeping area clean and dry.c

Diarrhea and supossed vaginal infection must have occured because of antibiotic therapy.Antibiotics can cause disturbance of normal bacteria balance in our body.
You are probably suffering from vaginal yeast infection or candiasis.It can be treated by 200mg clotrimazole vaginal suppository for 3 days.
Keel the area clean and dry.Wear loose cotton innerwear.
You may have probiotics like curd in your routine diet to recomplish the normal bacterial balanced.
If still the symptoms persist,you may need to visit gynaecologist for further management.You may then need oral anti fungals or antibiotics depending upon cause of infection.
