What Does Diffuse Annular Bulge Suggest?

My mother who is 47 years of age complaining of acute back pain. She is of 70kgs and 5ft height. We did a MRI Lumbine Spine scan today and the impressions reads as follows.- Diffuse annular bulge at L3 - L4 level,causing mild compression over bilateral neural foramina.- Diffuse annular bulge at L4 - L5 level,causing mild compression over bilateral neural foramina.Can you please let me know what exactly is this and the treatment methodologies.Thanks in advance.Praneeth
