Hello doctor, i am 38 years Male and i have neck pain since 1 year and when ever i get this, it feels like my nerves in head are getting pulled.i get severe headache. i can t sleep properly if i get neck pain. i go sleep less because i get some nightmares and my brain wakes me up as if i am gonna die.with that fear i will not be able to sleep whole night and next day i would be left with neck stiffness. During the day time i can manage but it fears me a lot in the nights. I developed anxiety and kind of a depression. i did MRI and it says mild disc degeneration in my spinal C5 & C6. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Spinal degeneration of disc indicates parameters of multiple altitude acting together for such issue.

Major of which is autoimmune and biochemical processes at various hormones and receptor levels.

If you revert back with scanned copies of x-ray and ultrasound evaluation, better guidelines can be tailored out as per the case need.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
