What Does Discoloration On The Ankles Indicate?

I have discoloration near both of my ankles. I was told it would go away, over time. But was also told it was from poor leg circulation. I was going to start taking Reserveage nutrition called Beautiful Legs . The only medication I take is for high blood pressure. Any danger in starting this supplement?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You are having peripheral vascular disease which causes poor blood circulation to your legs and causes pigmentation. You can go for an ultrasound Doppler to assess the severity of illness and to rule out small varicose veins that may also contribute to the development of discoloration. Consult a vascular surgeon and start on drugs like Atorvastatin and Cilostazol for improving circulation which in turn improves the pigmentation. You can safely take reserveage supplements with out any concerns. It won’t cause any deleterious effects on you.

Hope I have answered your query.
