What Does Discomfort In The Shoulder Muscles Indicate?

I am experiencing discomfort in my muscles mainly in my hip girdle. Some in shoulders as well. My ESR blood test is in the normal range. ruling out PMR. I have been on 40 mg Simvastatin for several years for control of cholesterol. I am on Warfarin 7.5, Digoxin 1.25. I have lost 17 lbs. in the last six months to stave off prediabetic condition. Could the simvastatin be causing the muscle discomfort?

Yes, it can cause myopathy as a side effect. You should consult your cardiologist and decide to further management.
