What Does Early Diastolic Notch In The Left Uterine Artery Signify?
I am 13 weeks pregnant and in my NT scan report it shows early diastolic notch in left uterine.. Doctor suggested me on aspirin for 2 weeks and she told she can only tell the situation after 5 th month scan report.. Is it normal and is aspirin intake safe and doesn t affect my baby? And will i have any complications in my delivery.. Thank you
During pregnancy left uterine artery diastolic notch indicates circulation disturbance between placenta and uterine artery so scan performed to identify fetal well being during the first four to five months of abnormal uterine not may be found but Aspirin tablet can be useful for prevention of fetal developmental abnormality after 5 months again uterine artery circulation scan can be performed and if not found then it is normal but if uterine artery diastolic notch found then further treatment can be plan So at presently continue your treatment as per advice.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
