Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all it is sad to know what he had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, though with feeling of scare, etc., can make anybody have a raced up heart but abnormally high heart rates may need to.be probed further with EP studies and thyroid profile, etc. Meanwhile a child psychologist can be consulted for his abnormally frequent and intense fears to treat any underlying phobias.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
