What Does Elongated Lump That Extends From Kidney Area To Abdomen Suggest?
I have an elongated lump that extends from around the left kidney area to the front of my abdomen. Is a little sensitive at the kidney area but otherwise doesn t bother me. Going to a chiropractor and the massage theropist there found. Can you tell me what it could possibly be?
Hello and welcome to HCM, A lump which extends from around the kidney to front of your abdomen requires imaging study of abdomen which includes an ultrasound and CT scan. An aspiration study of the lump under radiological guidance may also be required to assess the nature of the lesion. This investigation will determine the nature of the lesion - its origin. Further management of the lesion can be planned after assessing the origin and extent of the lump. Consult a surgeon for clinical assessment, investigations and thus management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
