What Does Endometrial Polyp Mean?

I am trying to get pregnant. My transvaginal ultrasound results on cd 14 reveal an oval shaped hyperechoic focus showing vascular pedicle in the endometrial cavity at body region measuring about 11.4x5.8 mm suggestive of endometrial polyp. Can you please explain this in plain language.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

Endometrial polyp is a endometrial tumor inside your womb or birth canal which is not cancerous. I think the best management will be endoscopic guided resection of polyp.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
