DOCTOR - I HAVE A ABNORMAL BLEEDING AFTER MY MENOPAUSE . CONSULT A DOCTOR AND ADVISE ME TO UNDERGO COLPOSCOPY - WHICH SHOWS A RESULT - SCANTY OF ENDOMETRIUM IN PROLIFERATIVE PHASE . AND FEW SMALL FIBROIDS . DOCTOR MY QUESTION - WHAT IS - ENDOMETRIUM IN PROLIFERATIVE PHASE MEAN ? IS THIS MEAN OF CANCER ? IF YES WHICH STAGE OF CANCER ?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Bleeding after menopause needs evaluation.
Ultrasound report suggestive of endometrium in proliferative phase suspects to go in for cancer, and hence it needs to be evaluated.
Hence, colposcopy is advised, which would help to examine cervix and tissues by illumination and magnification.
To diagnose the type and stage of cancer, endometrial biopsy and its histopathological examination needs to be done.
