What Does Endoscopy Of A Child That Shows Mild Chronic Esophagitis Indicate?

Hi Dr, my daughter is now 26 months old.she was reluctant to eat and used to cry badly when feeding her.she was given appetite stimulants.she used to eat sometimes and sometimes not.she takes breastfeed.when not given breastfeed, she hardly eats and spits.we got her endoscopy done and result showed mild chronic esophagitis. What does this means? Dr has prescribed lanzol junior and domstal. How long will it take to cure? And is this esophagitis the reason of her not eating?
