What Does Entameoba Histolytica In Fecal Examination Result Suggest?

my child is 3 yrs old and having loose motion for 1 week now, with greenish color and slightly watery in consistency. i did fecal exam and result are as follows. what could be the indication of them- WBC 8-10, RBC 1-3, FAT GLOBULES- FEW, BACTERIA- MANY, ENTAMEOBA HYSTOLICA CYST- 0-1, Thank you so much i appreciate

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
your child stool examination shows that he has E. Histolytica parasitic infection. It will leads to dysentery. so Rbcs and Wbcs are there in stool with cyst of E histolytica. Don't worry much about that, its a common parasitic infection. you should take metronidazole group of drug according to your doctors advice. just complete the course of antibiotics. he will be ok.
