What Does Excessive Vaginal Discharge Indicate?

I m 38 years old and my menstrual cycle has changed from 32/34 days now for the past two periods 26 days apart. I have the IUD copper T in and my period lasts between 7-10days. I also experience a heavy watery gush from my vagina like my bladder hasn t fully emptied. Wetting of course my underwear and clothes at times. What can possibly be the cause?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
IUD (intrauterine devices) are more prone to cause uterine and vaginal infection.
So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination and microscopic examination of discharge.
Yoi may need removal of IUD and antibiotic suppositories.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
Avoid moisture and perspiration in private parts. Keep proper hygiene of private parts.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
