What Does Excessive Vaginal Discharge Indicate?

I m having some vaginal issues. I have discharge, it s sometimes clear, it s sometimes white. The texture is very loose, thin and watery-like. There is no smell, or foul odor. I don t burn when I urinate, I m not having irritation or itching problems. What does it mean?

Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Thanks for asking. I understand your concern. Excessive vaginal discharge without any specific complaint could be due to severe weakness/long standing illness/chronic debilitating diseases like tuberculosis/swelling or infection of any pelvic organ. You need a thorough physical & pelvic check up to pin point the cause. Followed by a specific treatment.

Hope this clarifies your concerns. Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
