Hello,

Most common cause for fibrotic lesions in lung is previous lung infection like tuberculosis or pneumonia. So, you might be having tuberculosis or pneumonia during childhood which is now showing fibrotic lesions.

Since, your sputum is negative for tuberculosis, no need to worry for active lung infection. You should take broad spectrum antibiotic like azithromycin, paracetamol and multivitamin tablets. You will be alright with all these in 1 to 2 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
