What Does Faint Line In HPT Indicate?

Hi.. I m 25 years and a mother of a 7year old. For the past month I have been vomiting,spinning headache,period pains and normal periods, always constipated am trying to conceive I bought a pregnancy test it showed 2 lines bt the other line is lighter. I just wanted to know am I preggy or not?

I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns.
when did u had last time unprotected sex? what is the exact day of ur menstrual cycle? are u using any contraceptive?
As far as strip testing of urine for pregnancy is concerned , it need to be interpreted properly. Normally a negative test is defined as single line. no additional line. The second line which you have mentioned may points towards the pregnancy but it need to be confirmed. you may repeat the test or you can get your blood levels of BETA HCG.. raised levels point towards the pregnancy which is confirmed later by the transvaginal ultrasound scan in early pregnancy...
