What Does Faint Positive In HPT After Taking Abortion Pills Mean?
I had abortion just recently. i took the first tablet on 22nd (Friday) and the last four tablet on 24th (Sunday). I had it just orally (Three weeks running). This is my last abortion again on 1st of February 2015. This time, I didn t get much bleeding as compared to last time. Also i feel my belly is still bulged out. I tested for Pregnancy just a day back through pregnancy kit and it s showing slide positive. This morning i went to take shower and i got a foul discharge smell, and now it worries me. I honestly don t want to visit a doctor at the moment but i am also worried for my health. Kindly help me out.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Repeated intake of abortion pills has caused hormonal imbalance. Apart from this, I suspect some vaginal / pelvic infection. Both the things need proper evaluation by physical examination and needful investigations. You need to consult a gynecologist for the same and get exact diagnosis and treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
