What Does Faint Yolk Sac With No Heart Beat Suggest?
I was advised last week that I have a 16mm Gestational Sac but the Dr. was able to see a very faint yolk sac and no heart beat or fetal pole. I was taking compound progesterone of 400mg which I was advised to stop. I was given an option to either do a D&C or wait it out to let nature takes its course i.e. miscarry. What should I expect? When would the process start?
Hi, thanks for writing.. Yes, it doesnt seem to be a growing pregnancy.. You can get a b-hcgblood test and repeat after 48 hrs.. If there is no doubling, you can go for D and C.. If doubling is present, then wait for a week and get scan repeated to see for sac.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
