Im taking a microbiology class and need to answer a case study questionnaire patient symptoms include slight fever, frequent urination, burning on urination, vaginal discharge and a small lesion on labia. Urine analysis revealed a ph of 8.5 some white blood cells and. there was protein in the urine. A smear of vaginal secretion showed a number of gram negative cocci

You have case of urinary tract infection. It can be gonococcal infection most likely. You should go for culture and sensitivity test. It will help you to choose thr antibiotics. Then complete course of antibiotics is needed to control infection. Drink plenty of water.
