Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Hope your child is feeling better now.
First of all, tablets are not recommended for children.
Instead syrups should be given.
Secondly, different antibiotics are to kill different types of microorganisms there are wide diversity of organisms.
You need to give proper history as if he's having chills and sweating also is he having fever continuously or in and off at evening and morning only or all day long? also blood test need to be done for final conclusions.
If fever doesn't resolve after start to five days go have a proper checkup with a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
