Hi,

Your infant is touching his ears again and again, and on visual inspection, there is fluid discharge from the ear that can be an indication of infection in the ear. A rise in body temperature is also pointing towards infection.

So my suggestion is to consult a pediatrician and get evaluated, and an ear examination can be also be done. If there is an infection, then antibiotic ear drops can be advised along with antibiotic oral drops. Paracetamol drops can also be given if there is a fever.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
