What Does Fluid Filled Cyst Near Lacrimal Gland In MRI Report Indicate?
In 1995 I had histoplasmosis in my left eye. After surgery I developed a detached retina. Long story short I now am experiencing phthisis bulbi. over the past several years have been experiencing minor headaches which I have ignored. In the past month they have gotten to be terrible along with dizziness. The MRI report came back as normal but when I brought the report home and read it myself I noticed that it says that I have a 7x6mm fluid filled cyst near my lacrimal gland. I have googled away with no explanation. I have an upcoming appointment with an opthamologist but wondering if this is possibly related to the phthisis bulbi? Or am I worrying myself for nothing ? Thank you
The fluid-filled cyst near the lacrimal gland could be a cyst associated with lacrimal gland. A cyst is a fluid-filled cavity which is usually asymptomatic.
