What Does Fluid In The Lumbar Spine Indicate?

One of our relatives has a problem with her lumbar spine. She did CT scan, and her doctor said, that synovial fluid between your two lumbar spine has been decreased due to pressure on your spine. Now in CT scan, the lumbar spine shows black in color. Can you please advice?

it simply means the degeneration of disc between vertebra .it is usually age related wear and tear . advise your relative to undergo physiotherapy and sleeping on hard bed and maintenance of proper sitting and standing posture .if you have any further query then you can come back to HealthcareMagic i will definitely help you and guide you appropriately .
