What Does Fluttering Sensation In The Chest Indicate?

My daughter is experiencing fluttering in her heart and she has been having high blood pressure readings for over 5 months. No seems to be bothered by this, but now she is short of breath at times and tired. She has had thyroid cancer and is being treated now with synthroid 150mg/day. She is also on birth control. She is going to see a cardiologist this Thursday. She is 21 and pretty healthy, but a little overweight. Do you think this is serious? r

Thanks for asking the question.

This is the side effects due to synthroid. Here you mentioned 150 mg/day. It may be 150 mcg/ day because mg dose is too much high. Tiredness and fluttering sensation are due to synthroid.

You can consult your physician to reduce the dose to 100 mcg / day, off course monitor thyroid hormone level at this dose. By titrating dose you can cope up with side effects without much affection thyroid hormonal level.
