Hello,
Let me tell you that
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) are very less common in males less than 50 years.
The following are some of the predisposing factors for UTI in males:
1) Any obstruction to urinary tract like urinary catheter
2) Acute epidydymitis and
orchitis (inflammation of testis)
3) Homosexual behavior with anal sex
4) Intercourse with a female, infected with a uropathogen (infective organism)
5) Any anatomic abnormalities of urinary tract
6) Any immunosuppressive diseases. Your symptoms are most likely due to infection in urinary tract.
But before starting treatment, we need to confirm the diagnosis by the following investigations:
1)
Urinalysis, gram staining (complete urine examination)
2) Urine culture and sensitivity
So, my advice is to see a doctor and get a detailed examination done to arrive at a specific diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi.m
