What Does Fungal Infection On The Scalp Indicate?
I have something on top of my head. am worried it could be cancer went to the doctor and was told it was a fungus tell me what I would do for it they prescribe a med which I used and it has not helped at least in my mind. is it possible that they missed something or does it just naturally take more than 3 months to go away?

Fungal infection of scalp is called tinea capitis caused by dermatophytes. Use ketoconazole shampoo. Maintain proper hygiene.If not resolving try oral Fluconazole tablet.
