What Does Grade II Renal Parenchymal Change, In The Kidney Scan Report Suggest?
Hi, My father under went Scanning of Kidney's. The Report says : " Both Kidneys measure about 82-85 Mn in length & show increased cortical echotextore with preserved CM differentiation. - 1) Grade II reneal parenchynal change. 2) prestate - 24 Grams & PURU - Nil 3) No Hydorphneis bilaterally 4) No other Ovious finding in abdomin & pelyis
The report says there is increased in echo-texture ( which is comparative with the adjacent liver and spleen) this increased is seen in presence of renal pathology with CMD - cortex and medulla differentiation is maintained ( is maintained up to grade II partial in Grade III). The kidney measurements are lower limit normal.
In this case you have to get the KFT - kidney function test correlation. As ultrasound will only able to detect the pathology - but detail histological diagnosis will be lab (pathological) and BIOPSY ( if there is obvious changes in the pathological report).
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
