What Does Green Vaginal Discharge Upon Using A Tampon Indicate?

I usually use tampons throughout my entire period because I m lazy af. Today, day 10 (my period usually only lasts for 6-7 days tops, but this time was different), I happily noticed that there was no blood on my tampon (only some red discharge that I usually get in the end of my period), and that I could live on with my life, period free, for the following 20 days. Everything was going great until I found I light green spot on my tampon. It has never happened before. I have also had pretty bad pains after putting some in, I thought this was nothing to worry about though, until I googled on this particular subject and several people reported this aswell. Anyways; should I be worried?
