What Does Groin Pain On The Right Side Indicate?

I am experiencing a sudden onset of pain in the right groin. There was no preceding activity to provoke onset. No falls or strains. I do have arthritis, widespread, and have hx of spinal fusions. The pain is when putting weight on right foot, dull, about a 5-6 level. There can also be some lesser degree of pain at rest, sort of throbbing, but it goes away after a few moments. Onset was late last evening, just before getting into bed. Has been consistent all day today, staying at same level. Pain does not refer. No other symptoms. YYYY@YYYY O

Hello,

The most common cause of groin pain is a muscle, tendon or ligament strain. Other possibilities like avascular necrosis of bone or herniation or epididymis inflammation or spermatocele or cystitis with urinary tract infection or hydrocele or torsion etcetera. Unless examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your surgeon he will examine through the scan and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
