What Does Hard Skin On The Nails Indicate?
My middle finger is the only one affected.this s been going for at 6months.the skin gets very hard around the one side of my nail and now it s going under my fingernail.i have used n antibiotic cream and a steroid cream it will not go away it is painful until I remove the hard skin,overnight it goes back to very hard skin when I remove the hard skin it bleeds

I think you are having a fungal infection. Take Fluconazole tablets orally. Also apply ointment antifungal twice daily.
