What Does Haziness Seen In Left Para Cardiac Region In A X-ray Report Suggest?
My daughter is 6 years old. She has cough and cold from last 2 weeks. Today one of pediatrician suggested to do some blood test and chest xray. Chest x-ray report has bold line as Haziness is seen in left para cardiac region suggestive of pneumonitis Could you please explain? Is it something danger?. I am very much worried
Your daughter of six years old has started to cough as the common cold. However, if a cough persisted for two weeks then, there is more than a common cold. It explains the blood tests and chest x-ray her pediatrician suggested. The presence of bold line as haziness in her left para cardiac region is suggesting pneumonitis (inflammation/infection of the walls of the alveoli in the lungs). She needs prescription medicines together with a regular follow-up with her pediatrician. She should be okay in a week time after starting medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
