thank you for using health way magic.

Hi Maricel. I want to ask first if you are better after your 10 day confinement in the hospital?
Most of the time, if you are given the right medication for pneumonia, your repeat xray should clear up after a week of antibiotic. But there is such a thing as radiologic lag which can explain why there are still infiltrates in your repeat xray. If you are feeling fine right now, you may just opt to have another xray done after 2-3 weeks to rule out any abnormality. But if you are still ill after your confinement, you may still have an infection and may need further treatment.

sincerely,

Mark Rosario MD
