Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an episode of left sided (head to toe numbness ) for 5days but able to function no headache. Trigger was checking blood pressure with an automated machine in the left arm. Blood pressure has been 130-140 over 70s. History of shoulder injury 7 years ago. After numbness went away a few weeks later having left arm ++aching and sore feeling tight around my arm associated with left jaw /face and neck pain / tingling. This lasted 8 weeks. Had X-ray which I was told showed some tendinitis. The anti inflammatory meds were too hard on my stomach so I started robacet regularly and a flexeril and at bedtime which seemed to help. Today started again but all left side numb tingling also to first three fingers on the right hand and around the mouth intermittently. Head isn t aching but sometimes it s like my vision is just slightly off or I m about to be dizzy type thing. Anyway do you have any ideas. Been to my doctor three times. Awaiting a neurologist which I m told could take a year
