What Does Heart Beat 102bpm And Yolk Sac 0.41cm For 6th Week Fetus Indicate?
I m Pregnant. I went to get a Sonogram today and they said I m 6 weeks. Now, if you do the math...my Last Menstrual cycle was Aug.1 2014, so that would put me at approximately 6 weeks 6 days pregnant. My babys heartbeat is 102 bpm, and he is 0.37cm. His Yolk Sac is 0.41cm. Is there something wrong with that? I don t understand why they set me back a week. If that not healthy then why are they constantly telling me You have a Normal Pregnancy ?

Odds are in your favor that a heartbeat of 102 is ok. When the heartbeat is under 120 a repeat ultrasound in a week or two usually shows a normal healthy pregnancy. The ultrasound measurements can predict the date of conception to within a few days: you may have ovulated and conceived a few days later than average that cycle, which is fine for the pregnancy.
