What Does Heavy Vaginal Bleeding In A 53 Year Old Indicate?
Yes,im 53 yrs old and my periods are very abnormal. This is my second period this month and im hurting so bad in my cervics.I went to the bathroom and pushed on my cervics, which was facing backwrds, and 3 big clots flew out in my hand....I feel like im bleeding to death, this has been going on for at least 2 yrs.Now im concerned something is wrong....Please Help !!!
Hello dear I understand your concern Bleeding in your case is not normal. It could be due to fibroid, polyp, enometrium and cervix dysplasia and endometrium cancer. I would suggest to consul the gynecologist and undergo USG scan, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, reproductive hormone analysis. Progesterone pill and tranaxemic acid will help to reduce the bleeding. Other treatment will depend on the specific cause. Take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, maintain proper pelvic hygiene. Hope this may help you
