What Does Hemangiomas Gallbladder And Common Bile Duct Means?
I have had Right Upper Quadrant pain for the last week.. I have a sudden change in my stools becoming black and mucous consistency. went to the ED yesterday and after an ultrasound was told I did not have gallstones but did have some noted hemangiomas in my gall bladder and common bile duct. Do feel better today after much pain last 10 days. What does this all mean?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. I am not sure if you meant on hemangiomas in gallbladder or liver but these are probably hemangiomas in liver and this is benign condition and this should not cause your difficulties unless there are really big hemangiomas. Galbladder issues may lead to such pain even if there is no stones so cholecystectomy should be considered as well. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
