What Does High BP Upon Waking Up In The Morning Indicate?

I am a 56 year old female with a blood pressure that is very high upon waking, this morning it was a whopping 180/106, then gradually decreases through the day. By bedtime its very low, last night it was 113/68...... this has been going on for years, it just getting higher. My father had a rare adrenal gland tumor and his sister had a rare heart valve tumor.
