What Does High BP When On Amox For Sinus Infection Indicate?

I am taking amox 500 3xdaily,under doctor consult, this is to stop a sinus infection. my blod pressure at the time,2 days ago was 165, due to being ill, doctor did not adjust my bp meds. my blood pressure is still the same. it normally is about 130/78/60. how long should i wait to see if it lowers. thanks

Hello,

Amoxicillin is only used for infection and it will have no effect on blood pressure. May be it is a coincidence that blood pressure was getting normal at that time.
