What Does High Eosinophil Count Indicate?

Hello, I have fever from last 6-8 days and undergone a blood test. It is showing EOSINOPILS count as 08% where as expected for adults mentioned as 01-06%. Could you help me in understanding why it is more? Is it any reason for viral fever or something else? I am Male and of age 26 years. Thanks in advance !!
