What Does Horseshoe Kidney Mean?

Hello Doctor.
Last week I had health checkup, in which during ultra sound they found that right kidney is missing.

Ultrasound Report :
Right kidney not seen in right renal fossa.


Further they asked me to get the CECT urography done to locate the kidney.

Yesterday I had CECT urography, and report says that I have "Horseshoe Kidney". Now I am worried hearing this, kindly let me know what should I do.

I really appreciate your concern, "Horse shoe kidney" is most common congenital renal fusion anomaly, although this may not cause any clinical symptoms, still further investigation may required to evaluate the renal vascular status, hope this information helps, take care.
